2018 QUEEN OF EMERALD NIGERIA PAGEANT: FLAGS OFF REGISTRATION

Queen of Emerald Nigeria Organization is calling for entries into the 2018 Queen of Emerald Nigeria pageant competition  Season 3 “The Classique Edition”

The Organisers of the pageant -Great Emerald Multi services is set to raise beauty queens who will lead the awareness campaign on cervical cancer and also creating a platform that will bring out the best in of our young ladies such as their potentials, talents and vision as well as build their self-confidence, personal development and increase their drive for success. Participants would be selected through a rigorous process that will not just enable them freely express their talents but also bring out the best in them while competing for the crown.

With a wholesome combination of vintage glamour and modern elegance, Queen of Emerald Nigeria pageant primarily promotes  the awareness  of cervical cancer in Nigeria and beyond whilst partnering with Cancer organizations, brands and individuals like TUMGroup, Dallas Hair Cosmetics Nigeria, Amazing Amazon Initiatives, Medicaid cancer foundation, Optimal Cancer foundation , Noble & Creative Minds Foundation amongst others.

In addition to winning the prestigious crown, an official car will be attached to the office of Queen of Emerald Nigeria 2018, a trip to an African country and an opportunity of being brands Ambassador and an International Cervical cancer Awareness Ambassador.

The casting call (Auditions) tour in 12 cities,kicks off in the month of March 2018 ,starting with Ibadan on 3^rd  and then proceed to other cities which include (Benin  & Asaba 4^th , Awka & Enugu 10^th ,Owerri 11^th ,Portharcourt 17^th ,Calabar 18^th ,Abuja 24^th,Kogi 25^th,Ogun & Lagos 31^stMarch 2018)

QUALIFICATIONS.

Interested applicants into the 2018 Queen of Emerald Nigeria season 3

1. must be female Nigerian citizens between the ages of 18 and 28 years.

2. must be of good health, physically and psychologically sound.

3. must be of good moral standards without any questionable character or records of criminal acts.

3. must not be married nor single mothers

4. must be fluent in their English.

Interested young women living outside the country  with valid Nigerian citizenship can also apply. To apply, applicants should submit a 2-minute video clip stating their name, age, occupation, a brief professional background and reasons why they wish to become Queen of Emerald Nigeria 2018.

They should upload to YouTube and send the link to us via email at info@queenofemeraldnigeria.com Or they can upload a 60-sec video clip to Instagram with the hash tag  #pathtoQOEN2018 and tag @queenofemeraldng.  Successful candidates will be contacted on the next steps.

The search for Queen of Emerald Nigeria 2017 has been concluded on Sunday the 7^th of May 2017. The Second edition tagged the “Beautydom” edition was designed to raise beauty queens to become Ambassadors, create awareness and champion the fight against Cervical Cancer in Nigeria.

This quest began with auditions of beautiful and intelligent ladies across 17 states nationwide of which 30 outstanding ladies emerged successful and qualified for camping.

The successful candidates arrived camp on the 3^rd of May 2017 at DIAMOND VIEW HOTEL LEKKI, which lasted for 5 days and ended on the 7^th of May 2017 after the grand finale. The camping process was a rigorous learning process for the contestants and a cross to stardom for the winners as most of the contestants confessed. They got to interact with one another, learn to cope and live with each other, tolerate, support and in the end loved each other despite their different backgrounds. The girls also learned new things trained in different ways and were enlightened by motivational speakers during the camping period, which was a process to remember and cherish for the rest of their lives.

The grand finale took place at the BESPOKE EVENT CENTER LEKKI with a beautiful red carpet roll out at 6pm by Yvonne of Galaxy television where she interviewed personalities and celebrities such as Tchidi Chikere, Adepeju Olakokun, Santiago Roberts (CEO Miss Tourism Nigeria) and his manager Mr. Alex, Mr. Divine Oforma (CEO Face of Candycity Nigeria) just to mention a few and moved on to the main course of the evening, meeting the guests and our beautiful contestants. This event was doubled up with The Emerald Nigeria Awards (TENA) where top personalities with a track record of selfless humanitarian services were honored and awarded for their contribution to our beloved country Nigeria, as Tchidi Chikere was awarded Philanthropic Nollywood Man of the year 2017, Desmond  Elliot – Philantropic Political Leader of the year 2017, Oritse Femi – Philanthropic Male Artist of the year 2017, Dj Cuppy – Philantropic Disc Jockey of the year 2017, Osita Iheme-  Philanthropic Youth Ambassador of the year 2017,  Adepoju Olukokun – Philanthropic Man of the year 2017, Mercy Makinde – Philanthropic Woman of the year 2017, ,Ayo Animashaun- Philanthropic Media Personality of the year 2017, Victoria Nkong – Philanthropic Entertainment Personality of the year 2017, Mrs. Toyin Lawani C.E.O (Tiannah's Empire)- Philanthropic most successful entrepreneur of the year 2017 and Queen Rita Jonah –Philantropic Beauty Queen of the year 2017 and others were honored. 

Guest performers graced the occasion with outstanding performances.

Our beautiful contestants who already are Ambassadors for Cervical Cancer awareness began the fierce fight for the crown and finally our winners emerged.

During the course of the contest Queen Ifedolapo Ayomide emerged QOEN- Miss photogenic 2017, Queen Nikky Ogu was voted QOEN- Miss Amity 2017 and also Miss Felicity Abu bagged the award of the best talent performance.

Also some contestants emerged as Queen of emerald Nigeria geo political Queens representing the 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria. Queen Michelle Ogbu emerged Queen of Emerald North-Central Nigeria 2017.

Queen Joy Shaibu emerged Queen of Emerald North-East Nigeria 2017, Queen Bola Adenuga as Queen of Emerald North-West Nigeria 2017, Queen Offiong Edem emerged Queen of Emerald South-South Nigeria 2017.

Queen Ijeoma Ibe emerged Queen of Emerald South-East Nigeria 2017, Queen Jane Iwuchukwu emerged Queen of Emerald South-West Nigeria 2017.
